The first release of the coin Wiener Philharmoniker is in 2008. It has been released by the Australian mint and has a size of 1 troy ounce. The design of the coin is dedicated to the renowned Wiener Philharmoniker.
The obverse represents a pipe organ, situated in the Golden Concert Hall of The Wiener Philharmoniker. Above it, there is an inscription “Republik Österreich”, and below it, there is an inscription “1 Unze Feinsilber”, year of release 2015 and face value: 1.50 Euro.
The reverse side depicts musical instruments, used in the orchestra – violoncello, violins, clarion, bassoon and harp. Above them, there is an inscription “Wiener Philharmoniker”.
